Amanda Bynes says cosmetic surgery was the ‘best thing’ she did

Taking to her Instagram stories on Monday, The Amanda Show star opened up about surgery, after seeing a couple of stories online.

“I was never open about this before, but I actually had blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds in the corners of my eyes, so I don’t have those skinfolds anymore,” she said directly to the camera.

“It was one of the best things I could have done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin.”

The 37-year-old explained how she wanted to post about it just to “clear up the rumor” on her new look, as she called it “one of the greatest things” she could have done.

Amanda then took a moment to address paparazzi pics, in which she claimed she “looked terrible.” She explained the lighting casts shadows on her face, which makes her look “goofy”.

Another change the star has made to her face is a heart-shaped face tattoo, as well as platinum blonde hair.

She’s had the ink since 2019, but recently addressed it in her latest podcast episode. “Nobody cares anymore if people have face tattoos. It shouldn’t matter,” she said.

The new podcast, cohosted by her friend Paul Sieminski, will see the duo interview a number of guests. In the first episode, they started off with their friend, Dahlia Moth.

However, the movie star says she hopes to take the show mainstream, interviewing celebrities and artists.
