Secret behind Cher's youthful look is simple and one trick doesn't cost a thing

Cher has shared how she’s still looking youthful at 77, and what she won’t be doing as she gets older.

The music legend can’t believe she’s almost 80, and fans can’t either. As she shared the secrets directly from her Malibu home, we share them with our readers.

Cher reveals her secret to youthful looks

In an interview with Good Morning Britan, the Believe singer revealed her secret to staying young. Firstly, she revealed that the genes in her family were “pretty amazing”. Unfortunately, that one comes down to luck, so we can’t take any tips there.

However, she also said: “I keep up with the trends and I have a lot of young friends, I have old friends too, but honestly, I’m not trying to feel young.

“I’m not trying to be young, I am who I am, so whatever that means, I’m just getting along,” she continued.

As well as things she does do, the star also shared things she won’t be doing as she gets closer to 80, and one of those is cutting her luscious dark locks.

“I remember when my friend Paulette and I were talking about when we were going to cut our hair and stop wearing jeans.

“I can’t believe I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish. And I will still be wearing my jeans and I will still be wearing long hair,” she explained.

The superstar launches gelato business

As she keeps her youthful looks, the Burlesque star proved it’s never too late to start something new, as she recently launched her own gelato company called Cherlato.

In mid-July the legend took to her Instagram account to announce the new venture by posting a bright orange and pink ice cream truck with a black and white image of herself eating the treat.

Although Cher revealed on GMB that she was “more of a chocolate person” one of the flavors she’s offering is Avacado and Crispy Breadcrumb ice cream.

Speaking on the unusual flavor, she said: “I would have never chosen it, but people are wanting to go into these strange things, and God Bless ’em!”
