Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber seen at the same restaurant and fans are invested

It’s Paris Fashion Week, which means all the celebs are in the city of love to celebrate the world of fashion, including Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber.

Although the two have always shut down the notion of a feud, it’s no secret the two aren’t best friends, with Selena Gomez having previously dated Hailey’s now husband, Justin Bieber. Although, the two have been spotted leaving the same places in Paris together, not once but twice. Does this mean a friendship could be on the cards?

The music star first turned heads in the French capital after holding hands with a mystery man, but it seems like all that may now have been forgotten.

Although celebrities try their best to hide away from the cameras, we can always count on TikTok to capture the juicy moments, such as a Selena and Hailey reunion, dare we say?

First, the two reportedly had lunch at the same restaurant, celebrity hot spot L’Avenue, entering and exiting at different times, caught on camera.

Both women looked gorgeous, as the model stunned oversized leather jacket and matching miniskirt. Gomez on the other hand wore a completely different look, sporting a Jacquemus white puff sleeve mini dress with black polka dots.

Of course, fans went wild in the viral video, with some questioning what exactly it means. For now, no one is entirely sure, but we’re loving it anyway.

And it doesn’t stop there. The two were also spotted the night before at the same Fashion Week after-party. The bash was also attended by Gomez’s bestie Nicola Peltz Beckham and Bieber’s bestie, Kendall Jenner.

Again, the two reportedly arrived and left at different times.

Selena and Hailey’s relationship explored

Some fans and online users like to pit the two against each other, however, the pair have both denied this is the case. Recently, Hailey even liked one of Selena’s pics with her younger sister Gracie.

In 2019, although she did not mention Hailey’s name directly, Selena penned via Instagram, “I am grateful for the response that the song is getting. I’m so grateful. However, I do not stand for women tearing women down.”

It came after Bieber received ‘hate’ for uploading a screenshot of Summer Walker’s song I’ll Kill You after the now 31-year-old released her track, Lose You to Love Me. Responding to comments at the time, the model said: “Please stop with this nonsense… there is no ‘response’. This is complete BS.”

In October 2022, the two posed for a cute pic together at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ 2nd annual gala, in Los Angeles.

Skip to 2023, and fans thought Hailey was shading Selena again, this time involving Kylie Jenner. Although, it seemed like the hate had gotten out of hand, as the ex-Disney Channel star took to her Instagram to ask fans to stop.

“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity.”

“This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying,” she continued. “I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this to all stop,” she concluded.

Most recently, in June 2023, Hailey opened up about the ‘feud’ between her and Gomez on The Circuit, with Emily Chang.

“I don’t think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez,” she said.

“This is not about this pitting between two women — it’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted, and perpetuated narratives that can be really dangerous.”
