Sophie Turner 'eager to meet' single NFL players with the help of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has been seen helping her bestie Sophie Turner through her divorce from Joe Jonas, and now it looks like she may also be helping her move on with an NFL player too.

The TV star was recently spotted locking lips with a UK millionaire, however, one source claims that the 27-year-old isn’t committed to anyone and is ‘open to dating.’ Here’s where bestie Taylor Swift comes in…

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have taken the world by storm with their new relationship, and one source claims that Sophie Turner may also be looking for an NFL partner.

One insider tells US Weekly she was eager to cheer on the Chiefs, as a way to meet new people.

“One of the reasons she [went] to the Chiefs game with Taylor is because she’s newly single and Travis has a lot of single friends who play in the NFL,” the source reveals.

It’s not the first time the Cruel Summer singer has helped her bestie out. Earlier on in the divorce proceedings, it was reported she loaned her New York apartment to Sophie and her two daughters, Willa and Delphine.

Little is known whether Turner did bag herself an NFL player. However, it seems like she’s very much open to it, even after her public make-out sesh with Peregrine Pearson.

One source told the publication the two “are not serious at all” and the actress is keeping her options open by “casually dating a few people.”

“There are a few men she’s shown interest in but [Sophie] isn’t jumping into anything or settling down,” they continued.

Turner and Joe Jonas announced their divorce at the end of September, after four years of marriage and two kids. In their joint statement, posted on Instagram, the former couple said: “we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.”

Taylor has been a big help in getting Sophie through her divorce, and adding some extra spice to the story, Swift and Jonas actually dated, many moons ago.

The relationship lasted for a few months back in 2008, before Joe supposedly ended it with a ’27-second phone call.’

However, it wasn’t all bad though, as it’s where the music star became close with long-term bestie, Selena Gomez, who was dating Nick at the time.

For now, there are no signs of Joe moving on from Sophie, from his social media, it looks like he’s enjoying some family time with his Bros as they embark on their mammoth tour.
